As a former highly successful college basketball coach,
collegiate and professional game scout, television color commentator, school
administrator, athletic director and youth basketball camp director, Chip Boes has
never lost his passion for teaching and messaging the game of basketball.
This five-time “Coach of the Year” has been a featured
speaker at the NCAA Final Four, numerous coaching clinics, and basketball camps
throughout the South. A former
consultant to the Panama Basketball Federation, his team toured the Republic of
Panama and participated in international competition.
His message whether on the court teaching the game to young
people, mentoring coaches, or behind the speaker podium is entertaining,
meaningful, enthusiastic, and motivational.
The successful experiences and opportunities presented to
him were instrumental and afforded him the opportunity to coach NCAA Division 1
players, NBA draft picks, an Olympian, European professionals and a Globe
Trotter tour member. Chip’s total belief that “Good Things Happen To Good People” and “Everyone Should Have A Ball” were and still are the foundation
that shape his program.
